Our
Story
Michael Toole is a long-time resident of the Greater Toronto Area who now lives in Gravenhurst, Ontario, where he is an active member of the community. He grew up with strong artistic influences-his father was an amateur photographer and his mother a painter. Inspired by their creativity, Michael continually seeks new and innovative ways to present his photography.
Rather than simply capturing images, he explores creative techniques such as combining multiple exposures or merging different photographs to create a single, compelling work of art. His practice is always evolving, and he is never satisfied with merely recording what he sees. Michael is constantly experimenting with different methods of image creation and presentation to ensure each final piece is unique.
His photographs are displayed on a variety of materials, including resin and encaustic on board, Di-bond, acrylic, and paper behind glass. He has received numerous awards and continues to exhibit his work in Toronto, Muskoka, New York City, Miami, and Ottawa. His pieces are included in several private and corporate collections, and custom or commissioned works are available upon request.
